Jaggery is golden brown colored, smooth textured, salty sweet flavoring, unrefined cane sugar made from boiling down sugarcane juice. It is considered to be one of the healthiest forms of sugar. It has fine amounts of minerals such as magnesium, iron, potassium, selenium, manganese and sodium. It has antioxidant properties.
